Madame AI
MadameFX AI connector

Let your AI assistant edit in MadameFX Studio

One link connects your AI chat to the project open in MadameFX Studio on your computer. Ask for titles, lower thirds, cuts, captions or motion graphics — the AI builds them on your timeline, renders frames to check its work, and every change is one Ctrl+Z.

How to connect

About two minutes, once. After that the connector is there in every chat.

  1. Turn it on in MadameFX Studio

Open MadameFX Studio and sign in with your Madame AI account. Go to Settings → AI and turn on AI connector. Turn on Allow edits too if the AI should change your project — without it, it can only look.

  2. Add the link in Claude

In Claude open Customize → Connectors (older apps: Settings → Connectors), choose Add custom connector, paste the link above and press Add.

  3. Sign in and approve

A Madame AI page opens: sign in with the same account as in MadameFX Studio, keep MadameFX Studio ticked and press Allow.

  4. Ask for something

Turn the connector on in the chat (the + menu → Connectors) and try:

Look at my MadameFX timeline and tell me what's on it.Add a clean lower third for “Ariana Park — Director” at 0:04.Cut the music bed to the beat and add captions for the interview clip.

What it can and can't do

The AI works through MadameFX Studio's own tools — the same edits you make by hand.

✓It can

  • Read your sequences, tracks, clips, markers and media bin.
  • Edit (with Allow edits): place, move, trim, split and delete clips, speed, transitions, captions.
  • Build titles, lower thirds and motion graphics with your owned presets.
  • Check its work: render frames and contact sheets of your timeline.

✕It can't

  • Reach your computer when MadameFX Studio is closed or the AI connector is off.
  • Change anything while Allow edits is off.
  • Buy, unlock or remove watermarks from locked presets.
  • See your password — sign-in happens on Madame AI, the AI app only gets a revocable key.

Privacy and safety

You stay in control

  • It only works while MadameFX Studio is open and its AI connector is on.
  • Every AI change is one undo step — Ctrl+Z reverts it like your own edits.
  • Stop anytime: switch off the AI connector in the app, or the connector in your AI chat.
  • Disconnect an AI app for good in Account → Connected apps.

What goes where

  • Requests travel from your AI app through Madame AI to your own MadameFX Studio over an encrypted connection the app opens — no port is opened on your computer.
  • Your media files stay on your computer; the AI receives the tool results it asks for (timeline details, rendered preview frames).
  • Calls are logged (tool name, time, result) so you can see what was done; the last ones are shown on this page when you are signed in.

FAQ

Which account or pass do I need?
Any Madame AI account works, including a free one — the connector costs nothing extra. Use the same account in MadameFX Studio and when you approve the connector. The AI can only use presets your account owns (free presets, packs you bought, or All-Access); locked presets stay locked. Your AI app may have its own plan limits for custom connectors.
Does it work with other AI apps?
Yes. Any AI app that supports remote MCP connectors with OAuth sign-in can use the same link, https://mcp.ai-madame.academy/mcp.
Do I need to install anything?
No. There is no separate program and nothing to configure in files. MadameFX Studio connects by itself while Settings → AI → AI connector is on.
I use MadameFX Studio on two computers.
The connector talks to the MadameFX Studio that connected most recently with your account. The other one shows that it was taken over; switch its AI connector off and on to take it back.
Besides MadameFX Studio, what else is in the connector?
The same link also offers your Madame AI web tools if you allow them on the approval page: Prompting Studio projects, the free Music Manager library and the Skill Manager.

Troubleshooting

“MadameFX Studio is not open on your computer”
Open MadameFX Studio, check you are signed in with the same Madame AI account, and turn on Settings → AI → AI connector. The status box at the top of this page turns green when it is connected.
“Editing is off in MadameFX Studio”
Turn on Allow edits in Settings → AI. Leave it off when you only want the AI to look and give advice.
The AI app says it couldn't connect or sign in
Check that you pasted the link exactly, ending in /mcp. Remove the connector and add it again, then sign in and press Allow. If you denied MadameFX Studio on the approval page, reconnect and keep it ticked.
The AI doesn't see the MadameFX tools
Make sure the connector is switched on for the chat (the + menu → Connectors). If MadameFX Studio was closed when you connected, open it, then start a new chat so the AI loads the tools again.
Calls time out
MadameFX Studio may be busy exporting or showing a dialog. Close the dialog or wait for the export, then ask again.
